Specialist Care Unit Sold By DC Care To Milestones Trust

DC Care Specialist Healthcare Business Agents is delighted to announce the successful completed sale of Sandringham Villa in Weston Super Mare, to the highly regarded charitable organisation Milestones Trust.

The home accommodates 12 residents with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviour. The acquisition will take the total number of mental health homes owned by Milestones Trust to 17.

Naina Mandleker, Head of Business Development quoted; "The acquisition of Sandringham Villa allows us to build on our excellent reputation for mental health services in North Somerset, for which we have seen an increased demand."

Working on behalf of the vendors Knightwood Care, DC Care's southern business appraiser Andrew Sandel commented; "I'm delighted for both parties and believe that this is an ideal fit for Milestones Trust. The sellers had previously endured the disappointment of a sale falling through via another agent and it was really good to find a purchaser as committed and professional as Milestones Trust. Very few transactions are straight forward in the current economic climate, but I believe that as an agent that only deals in care we are well positioned to find the right buyers for our vendors."

Moving on to her next project for Knightwood Care, finance manager Christine Shipway thanked DC Care on behalf of the former owners, saying; "We are really pleased that Milestones Trust will maintain the excellent care that Sandringham Villa is known for and I would like to thank Andy and the team at DC Care for the dedicated and professional service that they have provided."
